  • Sundown on the Aiguille du Midi

Thanks for the positive feedback! I took the same view with my Nikon and Velvia so when that comes back from processing it should be even better.
The next day I was up at 4.30am and climbing up the nearby Mont
Blanc de Tacul at 4287m - Its 'only' 6 hours more slog to the summit of
Mont Blanc itself from there, but that'll be another day...

  • Evening at Thunersee

cheers - yeah - it needs (another) 0.5 degree twist. The roundish boulder is actually a log. The big dark boulder is too underexposed
but it was a diffucult shot to get right with velvia.

  • Sundown from Rigi

Thanks for the comments - I know its dark but I wanted to show it how it really was. When I get time I'll put up some of the later images from that evening as the light moves towards my position.

I'll happily accept a gift of an e2 membership ;O) in the meantime
I'll also one day get round to putting them online somewhere!

    cheers,
    Tom

  • Rigi Kaltbad

Not taken out of the train window - it was taken on a tripod while on the way to the nearest hotel for some beers while waiting for the last train down...

nice shot, mist looks great. you need a foreground so the rocks will have to stay so the composition is fine.

  • Lago Belgrano (stitch)

trouble is I'm apparently too far out of the rat race now! Returning broke and having forgotten everything I ever knew about I.T. doesn't bode well for saving up for the next trip!
...not that it wasn't worth it!

100% untampered with. I just exposed for the lower part and let the sun overexpose the top half of the pic. It looked almost like this with the naked eye, was one of those 'moments'!
