Would like to see this really big. The format works well and I like the composition.

Well stitched. This is a lovely shot and I bet would look superb on your wall at full size.

theres a bigger one on my site here:-

was stitched using the ixus 'auto' stitch
mode while at the top of a small mountain
in typically patagonian gale force winds!

Tom, this is fantastic- I think this type of scene is really only done justice in the panoramic format. You've filled the frame really well. I notice you used 'auto' mode, which has led to evidence of stitching (at least in the bigger version); I am not sure if you have tried the Panotools stitching software, which can be used to help even-up the exposures in post-processing and also let you blend the seams better using photoshop masks.
Doesn't detract much from an excellent pano though, well done.

Hi Tom,

I think this photo is superb, but not half as good as your trip!! WOW!! Ive just looked all through your website - what an amazing thing to experience. I admire you for getting out of the rat race and following your dreams - can I come on your next trip Wink

trouble is I'm apparently too far out of the rat race now! Returning broke and having forgotten everything I ever knew about I.T. doesn't bode well for saving up for the next trip!
...not that it wasn't worth it!

Fantasic picture. Saw one just like it at an exhibition recently of patagonia photographs.
