i like the photo and the atmosphere, but the quality of the photo could be better. to overexposured Smileand also there are better angles where to take the photo from.

I know what you mean about the exposure. I tried several different levels, and times, but somewhere I lost too much either under or overexposed. I liked this one best, although I lost some detail of Lady Liberty's dress....
I too know the area very well, but with the pedestrian obsticles now in place some of the other positions are awkward, or not as accessable as you would want. I did try one of the inner traffic islands, just over the concrete blocks but was ushered away by a security guard. I'd be a bit braver here in the UK , but there they have guns and you really don't argue.

I wonder whether a tighter crop would give you more of the feeling of all the buildings crowded in on top of each other and that special Las Vegas buzz, Laurence. In your pic you have quite a lot of black surrounds which tend to lose the focus of the pic and the atmosphere. I have uploaded a mod for you - see what you think.

I agree, hadn't quite seen it that way.
I had a play with the original file, and I've cropped even tighter on the right side as well... don't need the Palm Trees really.
I was quite please the "Night Sky" was black rather than the 'orrible orange I usually get. That was why I kept it in, although I admit, your crop keeps the contrast without taking too much away...

Thank you
