SKER CATTLE

By Imagephotographics
Morning everyone !

Thanks for your comments & clicks on yesterday image, very much appreciated.

Took this shot just over a week ago on our coastal walk, we had to walk through miles of dunes to get to the coast, and the last mile or so was passing through all this cattle. I am terrified of cows, so I can tell you I walked very quickly ! Then we passed the haunted Sker House - was one of those days ! lol !

Well it actually stopped raining late yesterday afternoon here in Wales. so had a few hours out in the air which I much needed - was hoping for a sunset, but the sky by that time cleared completely, not a cloud in sight. This weather is going from one extreme to the other.

BEST LARGE IF YOU HAVE TIME !

Chris

I agree Caroline, they do have lovely faces, but they are so big up close and they make a lot of noise, and I know they can run faster than me. lol !

No chance of you being John Wayne then Chris and driving all these steers through Texas ? I don't mind cows,as long as there are no spiders on them !!

Hi Cris. This is a great shot , cows are never a bother unless a dog is running loose, they are often just nosey, regards gray.

Lovely scene well captured - cows are OK it is the bulls you should be weary off - I was chased by one last year and went over the sty in a time that Lindford Christie would have admired - and with the 400mm lens over my shoulder - once I felt save I couldn't stoped laughing and just wished there was someone to take that action photo....Ina

Have read with amusement the comments re the cattle and yourself! Not so daft though, as some cows can be very nasty especially if they have calves. Nice shot regardless!

Very pastoral Chris. I love cows - they are always so curious and friendly - well at least that's my interpretation - could be wrong of course!

I like this image very much - makes me want to go for a walk in the countryside.

My hand was'nt shaking as much as I was out of breath Ann - and the worste part was, knowing that I had to walk all that way back through them all.
