STEPPING STONES

By Imagephotographics
Morning everyone !

Thanks very much for your comments & clicks on yesterdays' BRACELET BAY, most appreciated.

Here is another image taken with my new lens, this was taken Friday afternoon at Ogmore Castle, as you can see the weather was beautiful, we just stopped off there on our way to the coast. Unfortunately then, an hour later the weather changed completely, so didn't get the sunset shots I wanted !

BEST VIEWED LARGE IF YOU HAVE TIME !

Chris

Beautiful scene, nicely exposed.
Is it my eyes or does the 'horizon' need levelling.

Good morning, Chris.
Lovely shot with your new lens. I was thinking about a similar one but can't make up my mind what to go for. Will need to do a bit more research. Look forward to seeing more of your shots with the 10-20mm.
Regards, Ronnie.

Morning Chris.

Good one, excellent dof to this. Like Brian I think it needs a bit of a horizon tweak.

Didn't realise that the 10-20m worked ok on the 1d Mk3...useful to know as I still have the Sigma in my bag....and been thinking about a fast fps camera if I decide to move up from the 50D.

I like the inclusion of the swan here, do people actually use those stepping stones? I would fall into the water, my balance not being great. A great shot - love it

Looks inviting, but not sure I'm brave enough to cross a river this way! Super image with lovely light and tones.

Superb composition - three strong elements, the horizon, stepping stones and swan, working perfectly together. Two static, fixed, one free to roam.

Like Ann I don't think I would risk crossing the river this way but the stones lead you across to the distant view beautifully. Bet you're pleased with the new lens.
