ROCKS & SEAWEED

By Imagephotographics
Afternoon everyone !

Many thanks for your comments & clicks on my last up-load and series of images taken at St Fagans, I have a couple more, but I'll leave them for another time, getting fed up of them myself now.

A lovely day yesterday, so headed for the coast, we decided to try Llantwit Major for a change, have never actually taken any shots there. It wasn't an ideal day, very bright and hazy most of the time, waited for a sunset which didn't happen either. But boy was it good to get out for some fresh air and a walk after being stuck in for weeks. Took my 10-20 as it hasn't been used for a while. The tide was low, it was great to be able to walk along, and see all the wonderful different rock formations on the way.

Well, hope you like it !

Chris

Great light on those dinosaur eggs, Chris. The beach at Llantwit Major can be very photogenic when the tide and light is right. I like your composition in this. The combined low pov, colour variation and that breaking wave create a dynamic scene. Excellent photography as usual.

Hi Chris, This photograph demonstrate perfect depth of field. Also I like it because it reminds me of the Moeraki Boulders in New Zealand. I thank you for your comments on my photos. If you are interested there are now versions 6 & 7. Regards, Richard.

Superb DOF capturing the boulder field is such detail, Chris: not exactly the spot to spread your beach towel for a spot of sunbathing however, methinks!
