APHRODITE

By Imagephotographics
"The goddess, Aphrodite, who was sprung from the dark-blue depths of the sea and was nurtured by the foam from the frothing waves."

Morning everyone, thanks for your comments & clicks on SINGLE ROSE, and a special thank you to Ian for his UA - very much appreciated.

Thought I'd end this series with an image I worked on last night, unable to sleep, so what do you do, mess around on the computer lol !

Hope you like it !

Chris

Like a fantasy Chris, Better that Aphrodities Rock and baths in Cyprus used to live close to both, The baths smell terrible, could not imagine anyone becoming beautiful after bathing in there. Why not frame this and take to a shop that sells fantasy items, I am sure it would sell.

Nice work Chris.

Yes Indian weddings are so different from the western type and take some understanding of whats going on to be able to photograph the proceedings without offending the participants or spectators. Guess you have found this shooting weddings.

Superb processing on this shot.

I am enjoying watching this image a lot, excellent creative work, the use of low light and colours has worked very well, I may be toning down the light patches on the right and see the difference, It's just a suggestion. All your images has excellent composition, great pose, this one is just as great. Well done. Regards, Balwant

I echo what Geoff has said, this is superbly creative processing (something I am presently aiming to do). I love the subdued colour, the textures and the contrast between the model and what she is wearing.
I too have shortlisted this lovely image.

When I came to this I had to double check I was on the right site Chris........such a change in direction from when I last viewed your work, as a quick scan at the thumbnails shows, though I see it is the end of a series so I'm hoping to see some more of your wonderful land and seascapes soon. As to this, it is just as magnificent as all you do, and I can think of no higher praise than that!
Rgds., Jim
PS. Hoping I can find the time to backtrack through all your uploads for the past two months, a pleasure I look forward to.
