WINTER WOOLLY

By Imagephotographics
Evening everyone !

Thank you all very much indeed for your comments & clicks on yesterdays' image.

Thought I'd add something a bit different today, this was taken Friday up on the Rhigos Mountain in the snow.

Looking at today's images, there seems to have been a lot of snow all over the country, some a lot worse hit than here.

Keep warm and safe !

Chris

Love that title!! Your sheep looks to be having it comfortably given that scattering of snow, but make a super shot. The light is beautiful as is the composition. Think of our sheep up on the moor in 2 foot of the white stuff!

You certainly need the winter woollies on in this weather. I did feel sorry for the sheep I saw whilst up in Scotland - though they've got their winter coats on, they must have cold feet, and cold noses too, nuzzling for the grass through the thick snow! Great capture here, and posed very nicely for you, too.

Hope the poor animal is getting enough to eat, such conditions is hard on them and they become almost totally dependant on being fed by their owner. Was speaking to my brother-in-law, who lives in Harris (the Western Isles) yesterday, he has some sheep which he hasn't been able to get to and they are hungry, they come around the house and bang on whatever they can find to get attention, luckily, he has some hay he can give them!
