The pose and the look is everything here. No idea if it's your idea or the models and don't care. The result is a striking image that adds a cutting edge to a '40's Hollywood Style.'

Thanks for the awards Keith I'm humbled.

I was letting a fellow photographer use my studio, so took about 15 shots after he had finished, using a 1.2m gridded octabox to front off centre rhs, and a gridded 45c beauty dish aimed at the hat from the side rhs.

The idea was mine, simply a hat and the jacket she arrived in, mono conversion was intended at outset, 10 mins all done.

Shot tethered using Capture 1, with MF Mamiya M31 (PhaseOne). Converted with yellow filter and some layer gradients, eyes selective exposure adjustment. Exported to PSPx4, dodge and burn a few blemishes, bit of selective gausian noise on background, no skin smoothing, job done.

Very original. Like your choice to do this in black and white which adds even more interest to an already interesting portrait. Grin
