hi, hopefully not overly critical.. i think you could have improved this with a better (more traditional) compositon - see 'rule of thirds' if you are not already familiar with such. Also whilst some do not care, i believe that being aware of background distractions positioning yourself and /or your subject in order to avoid them is of massive importance.
