Going Soft

By Irishkate
After years of getting images sharp for Camera Club competitions I'm now going soft - hope Tony Baloni isn't viewing this! I'll upload a triptych to slow the progression to this version - you be the judge.
Many thanks for V&C and a lot of help with my journey into IR photography and a big hug to the following members who liked my early attempt - with Infrared Tree - TrevBatWCC,Ryan,Alan Cameron, Alan - whatriveristhis ,Lin and Patty.

You're right Kate, after years of striving to get sharper images, we now tend to go the opposite way! Dosen't work for everything, but the subject here suits it very well - like it! Smile

It's always good to try different approaches, and soft focus works well with this image.

The soft version is the stand out winner here. I have always tried to make my images as sharp as possible but after seeing this I might start to experiment a little more. Great work again and very inspirational tooGrin
