A male Marbled White
Melanargia galathea, taken early doors this morning, as soon as the light improved.
By 7.15am they were warmed up and on the wing
Blown away by the response to the open wing shot of the female and as such my gratitude is expressed to the following, for their awards :-
Andy (ABPhotosUK), Isabel (Chinga), Karen (KarenFB), Ron (Maiwand), Cathy (Holmewood), Nigel (NigelKiteley) &
David (Craggwildlife)
Also many thanks to Fred (Badgerfred) for his award given to Twywell 2104 No 22
Will endeavour to catch up with things during the course of the day, though I have a meeting to attend in Stamford just after lunchtime
