I assume this is a hornet. Found this handsome fella lazing around one hot day. Poor fella snuffed it despite my efforts to preserve him. Guess they have a short life span. Pleased to meet him though. I'm jolly pleased they don't grow above 5cms here.

i'm glad they dont grow tht big too!!! I'd hate 2 b stung by tht!
