Super capture. The mist creates a wonderfully surreal effect.

  • Broken.....

Such a beautiful portrait and such a sad story. I'm so sorry that you have had to bear such a terrible loss.

  • Golden Pine

I must say that I don't like the larch plantations that have covered the hills of South Wales, but you've managed to make a beautiful image from them here. I know the Draethen well as my family is from Machen: I was up this way a couple of weeks ago trying to get some ir shots of Ruperra Castle, though the light wasn't really good enough. Will have to return!

  • I've just realised that I never left a comment on your portfolio Gwyn, and the start of a new year seems a good time to do it. Your photography has been a consistent source of inspration for me over the last year and a half both for its quality and the subject matter. I'm looking forward to much more of the same in 2007.
    Happy New Year!

  • Oops Gwyn! The years pass quickly enough without me hurrying them along :-(

I'm sure I won't have to wait another year for an upload but as your portfolio admirably demonstrates, quality always wins out over quantity Smile

  • Your portfolio really captures the grandeur and beauty of the Scottish landscape, Dougie.
