Oilseed rape is a common enough but it looks so good for those few weeks.
Taken a couple of years ago with a compact. I've tried to re-create it with better kit but the sky has never been the same.

argee with derek. I might have been tempted to saturate the colours a wee bit more...but I like that kinda thing Smile

My kind of image. I like the way the colourful rape field (symbol of summer) contrasts with the stark, skeletal trees you see in winter. I know what you mean about the sky: a zinging blue would have made all the difference but nothing you can do about that.

I like the shot, had a similar go near Cannock last year, just love the yellow against the sky.The trees work very well,

Nice shot Chris,is this anywhere near Stonnal,because the view looks very familiar.

Crikey Kev, Yes it is just below Stonnal on the way to Shenstone.
