Just to let you know - Today is Junior Competition Day!
All you have to do is post an image based on the theme.
The theme is "BLUE"
The competition is open to all images posted today. If you would like yours to be considered, then please title it "BLUE".
The Junior Gallery Team will decide a winner and the prize is a 4gb SD card, kindly donated by MikeRC.
Please have a go and let any other Juniors know about it. Who knows - we may be able to make it a regular thing.

If you would like to join in, you have until midnight tonight, and you are allowed to delete this image and upload once more today!

I like the detail in the fg, Izzy, but the horizon is rather "off" Smile

Iz - I like the wonky horizon, it seems to make more of those curves in the rock formations. If you wanted to re-process this and make it colder - bluer - it might make an entry for the competition... Mama

i love the layers in the rocks. and i agree with carol i like the horizon like that it makes the world look like its tipping up and thats how the water works because its being tipped.

...I agree with your mum about the wonky horizon. And it adds some drama to the shot too.

In fact, try doing a bit more of a tilt next time and see what happens. I mean, if you're using digital, then taking several versions (different tilt) would cost nothing and if none take your fancy you could always chuck 'em, ya?

Wow..lovely mono.Like the shapes/patterns in the rock and how they curve into the scene..I think your choice of having the horizon at an angle highlights this effect.
Nice title too.
