About

I've always enjoyed all aspects of photography from a manual Pentax film camera years sold to attend college years ago to coming back with digital on my 40th; I love almost all aspects of photography, but probably aspire most to high class fashion as a style - yep i know i'm not there yet.
Photo Kit:
Canon EOS 60D,
Canon 50mm f1.8,
Canon 24-105mm f4;
Sigma 10-20mm,
Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro
Sigma 70-300,
Kenko 1.4 teleconvertor.
Some cheap and two more expensive interfit studio lights and a solid Giotto tripod.
Canon 430ex flash and Yoghnu.
Lightroom, Photoshop CS6, Elements 10.

I'm now shooting more people than anything else, I have profiles on model websites such as:
http://www.purestorm.com/profile.aspx?id=JackAllTog
http://www.modelmayhem.com/JackAllTog

I work in the day in IT, and I quite like that as well.

Thanks for the buzz Jack. It brought me to your album. Your photo's are fantastic in my lowly opinion, however something did stir in my mind and the question is.
What happens to all the models costumes after shooting?
It never crossed my mind before but has now. I have always just looked at the photographs or training videos or such stuff and thought, nice shots, wish I could get shots like that. Well okay the studio backdrops and such like can be used time and again but the costumes, there must be thousands of them floating around. I don't think the local high street charity shops would have them on their hangars, or would they?
Like your stuff Jack, by the way the graffiti one is fantastic.
Patrick.

Hi Jack thanks for connecting to my portfolio even though not sure what that is lol.
Your stream is pretty awesome and I love your portraits.
I love doing portraits but find it one of the hardest and most challenging of all the genres so top kudos to you for doing an amazing job.
Keep up the great work.

Hi Stuart... Thankyou for responding to my post, I am playing around with aperture, but i feel that my photos are not as good as what I see on here, so I am a little frightened to upload them. I was also recommended to use the camera everyday to get to know my camera. I am trying hard but I forget very easily.. I think your photos are great.

Kind regards
Angie

Hello Stuart, I normally use a skin smother, in this case the model has an excellent complexion. From memory I did but just a little.
