Still One step forward and One back

I'm trying to get a higher good photo hit rate and it still seems like its still One step forward and One back.

Just at the moment i seem to be getting loads of shooting practice in a diverse range of scenarios, all mostly people which i like.
A Muslim wedding last week was full on shooting for a good few hours but actually quite straight forward as they was only really posed on the stage family groups, with a bit of added detail from the venue. Everyone easy to get on with and no dancing in low light scenarios or bleary eyes from too many drinks.
Shooting alongside two professional videographers was fun with thier 5Dmkiii and 6D units on dollys and monopods for sweeping shots of the group.
What i seem to have got out of this was that its sometimes essential to work with a group marshal to help form the groups, and that the 2nd flash shot is often the one that gets all the eyes in one place when others are shooting as well.
I've also now got a special LR radial adjustment setting for a slight pop of light/sharpness/NR on each face.

I've also done a few sets of corporate website shots for my company including an in department active shot showing the team at work. www.hso.co.uk

This week I've 2 exhibitions to shoot and an Ice skating session.

Seem to be busy again Smile

Thanks for reading
