...for those who saw my previous upload, this is what I was practicing action shots for--a basketball tournament. My newspaper assignment was to feature the team in the dark green uniforms and players 4 & 40 scored highest points on this day.

.......as you probably know, we're not allowed to use flash so this was Ap. priority, iso 2000, 1000/sec.

Interesting that you say about not using flash as I came across this guy on Flickr. He use several flashes around the court.

thanks everyone... and Phil, the lighting on this court was better than most, but yeah... Nikon is great.

Hi Jackie,
I cover our local womens netball league and have to work at 3200 ISO to get anything worthwhile. Your shots are excellent and yes the lighting does help but you still have to do the work. Nice work.
