Hi Andy
Nice first shot, would have benefited from having a border around to hold the picture in, you could try changing the back ground to a black one instead of ephotozine blue, that would have the same effect, just go back into edit details.

It looks as if this scene might have benefitted from a filter to try and balance the sky and hills with the foreground - although I see you are using a compact. You can also - if you are able in software - to combine two shots - one exposed for the sky, and one for the foreground. By combining them and then erasing half, you could end up with a stronger top half to your shot.

I really like the layering effect of the rolling landscape but I think you could afford to crop out the blue fencing in the foreground.
