I don't normally take photos of aircraft as the longest lens I've got is a 70-200mm f2.8 but this Catalina flying boat was just begging to be shot as it fly close to me.
I'd popped over to the Imperial War Museum (Cambridgeshire) whilst my wife was away for the day and although it was a 'flying day' at the museum 3 planes (2 seater Spitfire, Sabre jet and this one) did take to the air.

Thanks both. I think the lights make this shot. I've another, on a previous pass but without the lights; although I like it a lot this one wins.

I think its the composition that makes this.
The Catalina banking, but perfectly nose on to the camera, prop blur and a gloomy sky as a backdrop.
