Horse portrait

By jacomes
This week's theme is turning out to be the NIK Collection, Todays image (after initial processing in Photolab3) was processed in Nik Color Efex to bring out colour detail and texture. The untreated original is at V1. The pair demonstrate what can be done with an iPhone image.

Thank you to everyone who commented and voted on "Old tractor" yesterday, and if you just looked. I'm glad it aroused some discussion.

That's quite a difference! The amount of detail revealed is quite something. You definitely don't need to push the sliders any more than you have, I feel. Any more would be too noticeable.

great detail and an introvert look and it needs a bang-off hair cut on the front

Well, he is a beauty, James... both variants are so appealing, love the colour of the subject and the details... Thank you for your comments on my mono set today. Always much-appreciated feedback.
