I am so glad that we didn't pass this place a couple of minutes earlier. We saw the tractor that had ropped these a bit later beside the road

A great set,but definately you would not want one fall off right in front of your car or even on top of it.
The Farmer had not cheked his load before driving to the road.

He must have used a slip knot WinkWink
He obviously didn't get his badge when he was a boy scout

'Hay' ho, another day another great image, certainly one to get the heart racing.

My husband - a farmer - would be horrified at the carelessness of whoever didn't secure this load correctly!! People have died when one of those big round bales has fallen on them! Makes a good image though which you captured so well.

Looks like they 'baled out' of the tractor TongueGrinGrin. A lesson learnt hopefully.

One can easily judge the size of the hay rolls as it sits next to the car---I worry about this when I see a load going down the road----Right place, right time (with camera) has made you a very interesting image--- lots to think about!
