Christ in Judgement III

By James_C
Hi everybody. Many thanks for all your kind comments on my last upload.

It being Sunday I've decided to upload another shot from Chichester Cathedral. I happened to be up on the triforium today and noticed that the sculpture "Christ in Judgement" by Philip Jackson was caught in sunlight and I thought it might make quite a stricking image. So here it is. Probably wont be very popular, but... I hope you like it.

Thanks for looking.

James

You seem unsure of it yourself if you think it won't be popular janes Smile If this was a doublefold booklet with blurb on the cathedral, it works great because of the way you've presented it. On its own I think it would be fairly bland though. So i'm voting for it as a booklet idea ok Smile
Thanks 4 the share Smile

For me, it works. The way you have captured the light is what makes this picture.

Many thanks Carlos for your comment. It is very much taken as intended. I've been going through a bit of a rough time and think when I posted this I was feeling a bit down. I might post the uncropped original later and see what reaction that gets. Smile

Thanks Vicky and Di for your kind comments.

This statue intrigues me, and your viewpoint of it in its entirety is most interesting. I think you are right, the light on this makes it even more dramatic.
