West Door

By James_C
Hi All,
Many thanks for your kind interest in my last upload. Today's is a picture of the west door of Chichester Cathedral. Its had a few minor tweeks , but is basically straight from the camera.
Exposure 1/250 sec
Aperture f/2.0
ISO 64
Shutter Priority
I hope you like it. It will probably be the last "winter" scene for a while.
Hope you have a good weekend.

All the best,

I like the "almost mono" aspect of it. Good composition, too.

Works beautifully. Interested to note this "will probably be the last winter scene" - you have knowledge of the future weather you'd like to share, or just plain fed-up taking winter shots?

Thanks all for your kind comments. Sadly Ann I don't have a private line to God, just fed up with the cold waether and want to start more summery thoughts. I have a stack of pics that I would like to share with everybody and intend to start digging in to them.

All the best,

I like the way you have composed this image with the lead in to the West door. I used to live in Chichester so your photos of the cathedral and area are of particular interest to me.
