Choir Practice

By James_C
Hi all,

I have at last had a decent opportunity to go and play with my new camera. A very good friend of mine, who I haven't seen for ages very kindly came down and picked me up and took me to stay with them for a few days. They also took me on to see my sister and brother-in-law in Peterborough where my brother-in-law is the precentor.
This picture is of the visiting choir of St Luke’s Church, Chelsea practicing for the service. They were very good.
I have very slightly tweeked the curves - otherwise this is straight from the camera.

Many thanks for looking.

All the best,

James

Beautiful image - the magnificent architecture, the concentrated calm of the singers and then the dynamic motion of the choirmaster's hand as focal point (ours and the choir's).

Glad you were out and about.
This is even more beautiful for the choir being present. It adds a depth to the image.
How I would love to attend a service in such a grand church.
