For those affected by the Japan earthquake and tsunami - A quiet space to think.

By James_C
I had not intended to post this picture yet, however, with the appauling news now breaking regarding the hugh earthquake and tsunami centered on Japan, I felt this would be more appropriate.

My thoughts and prayers are for all those affected by this horrendous demonstration of the power of nature. Perhaps we aren't as important as we might think in the overall scheme of things. I don't know... but we must strive on.

May God in His infinite power and wisdom be with us all.

James

A beautiful image along with a very appropriate and touching writing. Yes, may God in his infinite wisdom have mercy on us all. My prayers also are with all those touched by this terrible disaster. It makes one realize that no matter how smart we here on this planet think we are, God is still in control and His infinite wisdom and power cannot be equaled. Patti

Peaceful and beautiful in a world beset by so many tragedies both man-made and natural, your interior images of this awesome place have been excellent.

An excellent sentiment James. We are so lucky in this country not to have disasters like what has happened in Japan today.

Hello James, I couldn't agree more. What has happened both in Christchurch and then Japan is quite shocking especially the magnitude of Japan's disaster. Your Church or Cathedral looks a very peaceful place to offer prayers and contemplation. Richard
