Cambridge in the Autumn

By JamesAppleton
Trinity College Great Gate, of Cambridge UK.

I wanted something that demonstrated size, whilst including all the autumn colour I could get. The low perspective aided this, it was simply a case of positioning myself so that the sun was largely hidden behind the tree trunk to the left, then diagonally ND grad filtering the sky. A little bit of selective burning in helped bring out the detail.

Cheers, hope you all enjoy!

The low POV really works and makes the building all the more imposing. A great shot.
