Watersmeet Woods

By JamesAppleton
Looking slightly uphill into the winter sunrise at Watersmeet, North Devon. I'd been walking the paths of this NT secret for an hour or so around sunrise before I came across this fantastic scene. I tried a number of shots to convey the right feel of the mystery and depth, but on return this panoramic stitch seemed to bring out everything best of all...

Let me know what you think!
Ta,

J

p.s. - literally NOTHING has been done to this shot - apart from the stitch and a slight sharpen-for-web - this is as shot...
