Lathkill Dale Tufa Weir

By jamesgrant
The tufa weir in Lathkill Dale is one of the Peak District's most picturesque waterfalls, even if man-made...However, it is often not in spate or reduced to a mere trickle. In summer, the River Lathkill runs underground and even outside of summer it can be hit or miss whether the waterfall will be in good flow...Fortunately for once the poor weather over the previous weeks ensured it was in good flow and allowed me to capture this shot of it.
