Stanton Moor Trees in the Mist

By jamesgrant
A personal challenge to myself...I had spent a lot of the week sat inside due to bad weather but I had gone stir crazy and decided to go out in the rain...I could see from home that Stanton Moor was in the low cloud and I felt it might be worth exploring to see if I could get any misty shots...I arrived and the conditions were perfect except for the constant drizzle. The trees I apporached first were just a perfect subject and I set up and snapped a few shots. I went on to explore more but the wind picked up and broke up all the fog. Walking back to the car the scene had changed completely and it hardly felt worth taking a shot!
