Thanks my friends for the appreciation of my nostalgic shot. We could sit and reminisce. Kids today dont know we used to have rotary phones and party lines Wink That was our "social networking" and we used to speak to each other face-to-face not facebook. Cheers Jamm

When I was a child, in the late forties, and early fifties, my mother owned a succession of working class restaurants and bars. The finest moment (from my point of view) -- in all cases -- was when the latest jukebox or pinball machine was wheeled in, to replace the previous edition (which itself was splendid in every utterly unimaginable, and inconceivably artistic dimension). These machines were "electronic art," of the highest order. (Yet -- even to this very day -- never having even been remotely "approached;" never mind ever being "exceeded," in my view, in their artistic merit.) There was simply nothing on the entire planet that gave rise to such an immense expression of what the world (with the possible exception of the "Rock 'n Roll" revolution -- wheeled in by timeless icons like Little Richard, and Chuck Berry -- had in store for us). Drop a coin! Spin through the collection of musical offerings! Punch in "A2," "F4," etc., and instantly be transported into the future! Ages ahead of where we had any right to be! All through the efforts of unknown --and entirely unacknowledged artists -- who have passed silently, and anonymously, into the annals of history. Thanks, Jamm! Very, very much appreciated! You got it exactly right! Superb image!
