Mark, this "Sea" is a Lake now, but the Sea water can come through the 3 Barriers in and out, by tide changes.

Some interesting information again Jan and well done for providing the map, nice to know where a place is.
I think I was driven over the Zeeland bridge many years ago on a holiday trip - must look out very old pics and see.

Hi Ya Jan,
Really like your "Oosterschelde" series, very very interesting!
I read up on it, due to the fact that I didn't know what a "Oosterschelde" was?? There was no translation for that word, but the most interesting part I learned was that at the mouth of the river, the fresh and salt water meet up.
Your series is Wonderful!
