Poppy Show

Years ago, I took a wild, but special poppy plant with me at home.
Since than, I save the seeds every year.
They reach a lenght of over 1 mtr., with beautiful leaves on it.
Every time it is a surprise which plants gives the "Roses" like these.
ps. I post a few in the mod page aswell. (have to get rid off)lol

Hi Jan,Stunning Montage,love the poppies they are spectacular,great vivid colour/tones,textures,detail,lighting and presentation four times over.Astounding montage and composition.Take care.AnnSmile
The path that leads up the tor just goes all the way up then down the other side.If you go to the top you can get the most spectacular view across the bay towards the town.I think it is either Lynton or Lynmouth.

These are amazing! In Califronia, we have the golden poppies covering the hills in January-April, but these are so much bigger and complex. Here, everything is dry and brown until the winter rains hit. No rain until November for us!

I think the montage would have been much stronger if the background in part 4 would have matched the one of part 1. I very much like the composition of your photo 2 in the mod page.
