Some Dying Tulips

Some Dying Tulips

First---sending a hearty THANK YOU to ChristineD for her UA for "Ooops! " ----Glad you all found it amusing----

The Dead Tulips are posted as per a request from Saltireblue (Malcolm) wishing to see a single, lonely tulip (V2) . I have also taken an indulgence by adding an imporved image of the pot of tulips as it sat just outside my studio (v3) View 1 and 2 were taken using MUP.

I love flowers at every stage. When they are condemned as past their best, they have such interesting colours and textures. Lovely set.

I like the broken line under the dying tulip in V1.
Love V2 with the shy tulip turned away from us
and the added light in V3.

Very late into theseBlush

I do love the absolute minimalism shown in #1 & 2. The deep ruby red of #2 is gorgeous. The small base line a stroke of genius that really does add to the overall kook.
#1 has the best comp, I feel. Placing the stem on the extreme end of the base line, the rest of the black stroke waiting to catch and support the bloom when it eventually succumbs to gravity.

Really top work Jennn. Many thanks for considering my suggestion.
