Thought we might get a decent sunrise yesterday so got myself up and went out to the Roaches but I'm afraid I only managed this rather poor shot before the rain once again closed right in. Really struggling to get any images at the moment.
Anyway, thanks for looking
Nicely composed Jason and I like the sky , it's the type of weather I get 9 times out of 10 when I go there so it's a familiar but still beautiful scene
Nice composition, Jason. You are not the only one struggling, any time I have been off recently, grey sky and flat light, not good!
A dramatic heavy sky, great mood and compo.
A good shot, we are not getting out at all - good days we have had to stay in for deliveries and when we have the time it is wind and rain (like today).
Just enough light behind the mountain to get the shot!
Maybe not the shot you set out to capture but that's the beauty of working with what you've got!
An impressive image---
I am about to order this lens, curious here, how much of a crop?
Like the subdued light, Jason. Worth getting up before 0800 for.
Thanks Malc - this was a 0545 start I'll have you know and an 0730 take - I see my camera doesn't know about clock adjustments for the winter/summer!
Excellent image, Jason!! A quite dramatic sky!!
