Large Emerald

By jasonrwl
Thank you to everyone who voted and commented on the sundew and special thanks to Carol (CarolAnnLauderdale) for her precious UA which was very much appreciated.

Today a Large Emerald trying to blend in with the lichen on a tree trunk - what a gorgeous colour these are. I dont think Ade Osman need move over just yet Wink but I enjoyed photographing the moths when on the workshop so you may see some more in the future.

Thanks for looking
Jason

A beautiful moth, such a pretty colour. You've caught it brilliantly - I like version 1 for its unusual angle and I like version 2 because it shows the moth posing brilliantly! Smile

Where did you find this beauty Jason?
Wish my screen was wider to see the whole image without moving the slider.
Great to see the front view and the whole insect to fully appreciate it's beauty.
