Self Portrait with Shed

By derekhansen
This started out as interiors shot but developed into a portrait. I have been debating whether to upload this for a while. Apart from having a few technical issues I find looking at images of myself uncomfortable particularly the unflattering ones. But I guess thats the same for most of us and after all I do like it as an image.

perdect for mono, and plenty for the viewer to explore in the paraphernalia in the shed.
Like you I dont like looking at images of myself, so hats off to you for taking the plunge and doing a self portrait, which has resulted in a very good image.

Excellent shot Derek ,suits mono really well with some great tones and a very well kept shed , I can't see the floor in mine. Would like to see a shot looking down the table on the right with you reading the paper (maybe facing the window) and taking a sip from a steaming mug of tea Smile

The intention was to enter a shot of the shed without me in the APOTY "Architectural Interiors" round but I didnt think it was strong enough so decided to make it a portrait instead.

Dark but detailed, mean and moody. The whites of your eyes draw ones vision perfectly.

Oh, I very much like this Derek - and of course I especially like this in mono, which I think suits this type of photo. There is so much to look at that color might possibly overwhelm.

If you really want to get over uploading SP's of yourself, you might do a nude Wink that'll cure you.
