A smashing image with your new BIG 10.

I have had one for quite some time now in fact I am onto my "Third." Oh yes! you will need to get the tin for it as they are so fragile. They Don't bounce lol.
They can vary from one filter to another as they are hand tinted and even using the same filter on one camera and then another. Chant and I have experimented with one filter on a Nikon D300s, a D700 and on a D800. Each one produces something slightly different shot wise.

Now you'll be getting Mark worried with the competition!
An absolute stunner for your first attempt!
The sky is brilliant and I think it has to be the colour version.

Nice one Jason especially as it is your first attempt at long exposure - I cannot see any banding either! Love the blue versionSmile

I can't see any banding, Jason.
What an impressive first effort this is. Clean and simple, just enough added detail - the diagonal lead in from the corner, to the post and the tiny structure on the horizon. The b&w version is just as impressive.

This has given me a kick in the rear to get my Big Stopper polished and used...

Cracking image Jason, love the long exposure effect, I must try it, have been thinking about getting a Lee 10 stop for a while, amazing result for first attempt, good colour cast handling in processing, I prefer the colour version here, I don't see any banding.

7.5 minutes.... impressive, Jason. I get bored after 3!! No banding that I can see either (a decent monitor as well). Has to be the colour version for the inclusion of the pink warmer tones as a contrast.

Very impressive Jason. Bought the HiTech version myself but not really had the chance to use it in earnest yet.
If i can get anywhere near this on my early attempts i'll be well chuffed.

Regards
Ken
