The Big Space

By jasonrwl
This is the roof of "3 Slip" at Chatham Historic Dockyard. Dating from 1838 , the semi-circular end was shaped to match that of a ship's bow.
Thanks to Ken (kenfromsot) for the inspiration for the shot as he posted one form here recently.

Thanks for looking
Jason

What an amazing roof which you have captured so well with this equally amazing image, Jason. The exposure and detail in this are excellent, a really fine piece of mono processing.

Like the symmetry and perspective, Jason and the mono concentrates on the shapes and patterns.

Looks 3D - an excellent subject for mono with all those shapes and differences between light and shade.
