That place again. Looks different in daylight GrinGrin. Taken from under the railway bridge looking through the anti-bird netting. The light looked good, then the vertical poles echoed the chimneys, then I saw the light reflected in the power station windows. The net gave an interesting natural texture but I'm a bit annoyed I lopped off the crane arm!

A wonderful response to my last image of this iconic building, thank you very much.

Iso200, f16, 1/100s, handheld!! - I would have used the tripod but I had to put the lens through a hole in the front part of the netting!

This is really an amazing image Dave !! The silhouette on the right looks a bit like a concrete male face looking down on your scene Smile The netting does add a lot to the scene !!

Excellent light and abstract nature Dave, as stated it does look beautiful now but when I worked there getting the coal out of the ships, nothing but blackness and grime.

Wonderful light - like the netting in the image.

I can see you are upset at cropping off the crane: what about a crop to the left, and up to right above the railing for a slightly different format and composition - just me seeing my way Smile

Dave, you can't just go around lopping the arms off cranes. it's not on!
As for the bird netting, I reckon this is a pair of fishnet stocking you have "only for photographic purposes" and stretched out in front of your lens.WinkWink
