Fooled about with a compact digital for a number of years and then in January 2006 bought a Canon EOS 30D.

Caught the bug and spending a fortune. Oh well you only live once.

Very much self taught at the photo game and am inspired by landscape.
I shoot all photos in RAW format and process and deal with same in Photoshop.

My current status is that I have now acquired a Canon 7D and now practice HDR Photography using 3 RAW's from AEB and process using Photoshop CS6 and Nik HDR Efex Pro 2.
