Wheels

By JawDborn
Wheels at Tanfield Railway. These were in the old workshop. The growing twigs and the discoloured wall gave the atmosphere of neglect, and the wheels hinted ata busy workshop in times past. I cropped the top of the photo to give balance.
The camera, a compact, was set at ISO 800, as the workshop was gloomy. manipulation in Lighroom 4, to bring out texture in the wall.

Thank you Jeff. Mod a lot better than the original. Thank you for the info about use of Liightroom:I'm still finding my way round it.

I am impressed by the extreme subtlety of tones in the ironwork for the ISO used.
Very pleasing composition, and one where the white background actually works!

Thank you for the comment Bill. The Fuji X10 in a remarkable camera, and I'm finding it useful for macros of wild flowers and lichens.
Cheers,

Very nice, tones and mood work well.

My only small suggestion would be to clone out that rusty shaft, bottom left that runs out of the frame. Ive done this in the mod Ive uploaded.

Regards
