Not 1 but 3

By Jaye
I was invited around to a friends house to take photos of her feeding the wild eagles. The pair of eagles who come in every night for their piece of meat circled and swooped so quickly I only ended up with parts of eagles in my images..However I love Kookaburras and was just as happy to see these 3 enjoying the afternoon sun up on the roof.I had my camera set on continuous for the eagles so forgot when I was taking the Kookaburras so with lens hand held and pointed up at the roof I ended up with endless images nearly all the same..lol..Please enjoy..Judith

Judith, this is a great shot. I love how all 3 lined up for you. Smile
Thanks for posting shots of Kookaburras. We here in the States have always heard the great sounds they make (in movies and on the web) but we rarely see what they look like. -=Walter

Quite a capture you got there. You seem to live in a bird-friendly area, am I correct?
Here in the Netherlands we have a lot of waterbirds in the suburban areas, due to all the canals and other waterways that criss-cross the country.

Thanks everyone...Tracy there are quite a few birds in our area but as we have a cat don't see them close up at my place but a lot of people have feeders and I have taken them from a couple of friends homes. Even tho I sometimes hear the Kookaburras it was a real thrill for me to see them so close and so many together...Judith
