Never tried a shot like thiss, looks a difficult one to get the exposure right on, May be work looking at the setting used by some of our regular surfing experts

Judith, I'm going to have to vote for this version. There is too much detail missing in the extreme shadows of the next version. By the way, did I ever ask you how you like your D200? I'm looking for opinions because I am considering upgrading to the 200.

I prefer this version I think, its very good, I would have like some vertical height cropped off, and for the surfer to take up a larger area.
