If you print onto canvas you'll probably find that it would work. I found several years ago that because of the bleed effect on canvas you need to over-sharpen to make it work. I don't know what effect you've used but it should have a similar result.

Telephone line reflected in a stream?

Hello Jennnn.
Thanks for the comment.
Not so sure that you weren't extracting some kind of bodily fluid though ... .

Daddy's Home!

Daddy's Home! by taggart

Hello Jenn.
I think brighter conditions would have spoilt the colour of the bird house. As it is the colours go well together.

Hello Greg.
You need to point out to "the wife" that wildlife depend on the deadwood. You won't find as much in clean, managed woodland as you can where some of the deadwood is left .
She might think that's a poor excuse though.

Hello Pam,.
Can you remember when Hayling had sand on the beaches, instead of mountains of pebbles? Your pictures bring back memories, but mostly of how it used to be.

That's quite a woodpile you've got Jennn.
I think you should rent out studio time on it. Just don't burn it.

Did you take the washing in because it was dry, or did it get rained on?

Hello Jennn
That's quite a variety of birds for one location. The most I can boast in my garden is blackbird, robin and bluetit.

Hello Greg. When did you get the 3D camera? I can see why they want you to go again.

Some very nice mushroom shots you're collecting. Must say I'm jealous of the earth star and the morel. I've only seen an earth star once, and never yet found morels.

Kept meaning to come back to this, but I seem to get sidetracked too easily. Beautiful shot .

Hello Greg.
I know I often don't comment but you usually get the click. By the time I get to them everything has been said that can be said, and there's too many doorways about to let you get too big-headed!
Thanks for your on-going interest in my peculiar tastes.
Your next move should be a lot further so that we get the rest of the birds from the US.

Try it with the Marigold. It should be very easy to make the selection with such a clear edge and the existing background will probably work ok. Even Adobe admit that sometimes you get unpredictable results . Don't know whether this is supposed to happen , but it usually does.

Tried it myself with your marigold and it works quite well . Dont understand why it should draw colour from something that isn't selected , but it does.
