I take it you've done some cloning in the upper blue/grey section? I see what appears to be repetitive clone patterns.

What I did was to select the top part of the image lighten in so you could see the owl better, then go to the brush tool, and rub out the edging, and the select must of move with out me noticing it, that is all that I can think of, but no to doing cloning to it.
