my award goes to you this week for this fantastic image.
its a beautiful capture and nicely positioned in the frame.
you done well to capture him with his beak open.
the colour is spot on but on my screen it looks like it coud do with a little sharpening.
ive been trying for years to get a shot of one of these chaps but so far have failed.

Thank you for the award. I was very pleased with this shot because you are right you don't often see them with their beaks open, apart from the youngsters. I have some nice shots with their beaks wide open hoping for some food.

Yes, maybe I should sharpen it a bit more. I think when I resized it down to 600 pixels I probably forgot to sharpen it again.
