This is a view of Norfolk Island on Ullswater, taken yesterday on a trip out with steve_eb. Before sunrise it was rain, but shortly after reaching Ullswater the rain cleared. There was a good mix of sunshine and cloud for the bulk of the day, so we spent quite a bit of time beside the lake. We later headed up onto the Kirkstone pass for a couple of shots, then down to Rydal Water before heading back home to mine via Thirlmere in rain and high winds.
Was going to the Lakes meet today as its so close to home, but my car is still playing up and was unable to make it. With luck they had a good start to the day, there is a good coat of snow over everything and had some sunny spells early on.
