Fabulous. Find it interesting though that you now have to explain that a shot is "not HDR" lol. Modern technology eh?

You have a very good shot here composition wise, but it's overexposed & there's a terrible blue/green cast on it. Try re-working it & you've got a shot to be proud of.

Can't help feeling that it could do with a warm-up filter treatment. Super shot though.

Beautiful, but I don't like the border though.

Nice shot David, but you seem to have lost it in the processing. Seems very soft & slightly blown out in places. It's a pity, 'cos it's a cracking shot.

Looks like you were "opening up a whole new world", but that's a different story.

Seriously, unusual shot & it works. Well captured.

Just added you to my favorite photographers list. Came accross you just now through the latest reader choices in the gallery. You have some stunning work in your portfolio. Your use & manipulation of light & composition is outstanding in some of your work.

Hi Mark, I came accross your portfolio by accident (you left feedback on one of my pics) & boy am I glad I did! You've some stunning work in here. Makes my feet itchy wanting to travel! Your work is the type of travel/landscape stuff I'd like to be at, so hopefully this is the year I get off my ass & go!

You say you're not happy with the quality from the 5D!! What lens are you using? Andy Dippie & Kris Dutson amoung others are using the 5D. Also, lots using so-called "lesser" quality Canon DSLR.....Paul Steffan, Patrick Smith, Ian Westlake, etc. Looks like they're getting some serious quality from good optics. I personally shoot a 20D, but only with a basic Sigma 18-125. I have tested some L Canons though, & found the quality to be superb.
